Voluntary Registry

A system or platform that allows organizations, projects, or individuals to voluntarily register and track their greenhouse gas emissions reductions, carbon offsets, or other environmental achievements. Unlike mandatory regulatory systems, participation in voluntary registries is not legally required but is often used to demonstrate commitment to sustainability, obtain certification, or engage in carbon offset trading. Voluntary registries provide transparency, credibility, and standardization for environmental claims and contributions.
