Definition
A measure of the total economic output of a country within a specific period, usually a year or a quarter. It represents the value of all goods and services produced within a nation's borders. GDP is used to gauge the economic health of a country, track economic growth, and compare economic performance between countries. It can be calculated using three approaches: production (output), income, and expenditure.
